We’ve packed in all the latest features like 2.4GHz control and complete waterproof protection! The RTR Sprint 2 Drift is fitted with the latest Chevrolet Camaro bodyshell available in red or green highlights, carbon fiber and painted matte black for awesome muscle car good looks! Drifting is the ultimate expression of motorsports individuality and mayhem while staying on all four wheels – with the RTR Sprint 2 Drift, you get a super-easy and very cool entry into get into the wild and crazy world of RC drifting! This Drift version of our Sprint 2 sport adds chrome brake disc, licensed Falken Azenis RT-615 drift tyres, specially designed scale drift tyres, pre-mounted on MST (Max Speed Technology) specially designed drift wheels molded by high-precision technology, wheel custom colors are by Oakman Designs, plus a bonus set of licensed replicas of the famous Rays Volk TE37 wheels in bronze . The chassis is factory assembled right out of the box, making the Sprint 2 Drift the quick and easy way to practice your drifting skills. The RTR Sprint 2 Drift is a complete drift machine that looks and drifts just like the real thing! 
The updated RTR Sprint 2 Drift is now fully waterproof and ready to tackle wet conditions like rain and snow. The new 2.4GHz receiver is safely stored in a brand new waterproof receiver box, protecting it from the elements and ensuring glitch-free operation. The new SF-10W waterproof steering servo and SC-15WP waterproof electronic speed controller complete the package, allowing you to enjoy drift action no matter what the weather is like!
All HPI kits are fitted with a comfortable and feature-packed HPI 2.4GHz radio system for supreme control and confidence! The radio features a pistol-grip design with steering wheel, trigger-style throttle, braking and reverse, servo reversing, steering and throttle trim adjustments and steering dual rate. It’s also extremely lightweight due to it requiring only four AA batteries. You won’t have to worry about radio crystals or what channel other RC racers are using with the latest FHSS (Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum) 2.4GHz technology – the radio does all that work for you! The radio prevents frequency conflicts automatically and changes channels if there is any interference. Finally, if you ever lose radio signal or battery power, an electronic failsafe will bring it to a safe and controlled stop. You’ll have professional-level control in one easy RTR package!

The RTR Sprint 2 Drift features a matte black 2010 Chevrolet® Camaro® with red or green highlights custom by Oakman Designs. The body comes completely trimmed, decaled and mounted for the ultimate in ease. The intricate paint design features an action sports inspired layout for concours quality appearance, and you can always customize your car with any of the clear or pre-painted polycarbonate body shells from the huge assortment of HPI bodies and other manufacturers as well! For great looks, the RTR Sprint 2 Drift is topped off with a set of MST (Max Speed Technology) specially designed drift wheels with pre-mounted Falken Azenis RT-615 drift tyres.
The RTR Sprint 2 Drift chassis is 4WD for consistent drift action on a wide variety of surfaces, easy to drive, and has all of the features you need to adjust for a perfect drift set-up: camber, toe-in, ride height, Ackerman, and a wide variety of available shock oils and shock springs! With a big foam front bumper, reinforced molded nylon chassis, upper deck and shock towers, you’ll see that the RTR Sprint 2 Drift can easily take the abuse of drift driving. The full ball bearing, dual belt, 4 wheel drive transmission is very efficient and capable of handling high power modified electric motors down to 10 turns.
The design of the Sprint 2 chassis with its controlled flexibility gives the car great handling. A belt driven 4 wheel drive system guarantees smooth power transfer and excellent traction on all surfaces. Plus, the race proven suspension with real oil filled shock absorbers offer lots of racing features you wouldn’t expect from a beginners car: adjustable camber and toe-in links, extra long upper links with new multiple mounting positions, adjustable Ackerman settings, adjustable droop, different caster and toe in blocks included in the kit… to name but a few. All features are listed below in great detail.
Just like all HPI cars and trucks, you get a full, in-depth instruction manual with step-by-step instructions that allow you to easily disassemble and reassemble your car for maintenance and easy servicing. The manual also includes a handy parts list and full-scale drawings of the parts and hardware. And the included HPI RC Car DVD is your personal RC car expert in a box!
